Support Foundation AutoWiki, online database van individuele auto's
Eén mondiale online database met alle individuele speciale auto’s bij elkaar ontbreekt. AutoWiki wil die database worden.
Beste auto-vriend,
Vorig jaar heb ik het initiatief genomen tot het opzetten van www.AutoWiki.org. Het is een unieke site waar digitale archieven worden aangelegd van individuele auto's op basis van hun VIN/ chassisnummer.
Vastgelegd worden o.a. specs, historie, km standen, verkoopprijzen, foto's (van events, restauraties etc), documenten (onderhoudsbonnen) video's etc.
Net als bij Wikipedia wordt de content geleverd door bezoekers. Doordat (oud)eigenaren, liefhebbers, spotters etc. informatie en foto's kunnen toevoegen, worden de archieven in de loop der tijd steeds completer en gaat de historie van een auto nooit meer verloren.
Owner Groups
Niet alleen alle auto's worden bij elkaar gebracht, ook hun eigenaren. Eigenaren kunnen zich - als ze dit willen - aanmelden voor de interne merk en model ‘Owner Groups’. Onderling kunnen ze contact onderhouden over auto-problemen, onderdelen, restauraties etc.
Beta versie website online
De beta versie van de site, waaraan bijna een jaar is gewerkt, is recentelijk live gegaan.
Gedurende de bouw zijn veel nieuwe ideeën ontstaan en plannen gemaakt voor nieuwe features, die in het komende jaar zullen worden toegevoegd.
Daarnaast zal de voorkant van de website worden verbeterd en geprofessionaliseerd.
Kosten verdere ontwikkeling
AutoWiki.org is ondergebracht in non-profit Stichting AutoWiki en is afhankelijk van donaties.
De kosten tot nu toe zijn geheel gedragen door ondergetekende. Inmiddels wordt het platform zo omvangrijk en nemen de kosten zo toe, dat de ik graag de hulp van auto-minnend Nederland inroep.
Stichting AutoWiki zelf heeft het Founding Donators Program opgezet met als doel een aantal grote sponsors aan zich te binden (voor meer informatie zie www.autowiki.org)
Steunactie
Om dit te ondersteunen heb ik deze Steunactie opgezet, gericht op iedereen die AutoWiki een mooi initiatief vindt.
Ik hoop dat zij een bijdrage willen leveren om samen met mij aan de wieg te staan van de toekomstige ‘Wikipedia van de autowereld’.
Doel is om via deze weg €50.000 bij elkaar te brengen.
Als tegenprestatie worden alle donateurs opgenomen in de ‘Donators Club’, krijgen zij een vermelding op de AutoWiki website (persoonlijk, als bedrijf, of anoniem) en worden zij uitgenodigd voor alle AutoWiki events en auto rally's. De eerste AutoWiki Rally is op 17 juni 2023 :-)

Last year I took the initiative to set up www.AutoWiki.org.
It is a unique site where digital archives are created of individual cars based on their VIN/chassis number.
Specs, history, odometer readings, sales prices, photos (of events, restorations, etc.), documents (maintenance receipts), videos, etc. are recorded.
As with Wikipedia, the content is provided by visitors. Because (former) owners, enthusiasts, spotters, etc. can add information and photos, the archives become more and more complete over time and the history of a car will never be lost.
Owner Groups
Not only all cars are brought together, also their owners. Owners can - if they wish - sign up for the internal brand and model 'Owner Groups'. They can maintain contact with each other about car problems, parts, restorations, etc.
Beta version website online
The beta version of the site, which has been in the works for almost a year, has recently gone live. During construction, many new ideas have emerged and plans have been made for new features, which will be added in the coming year.
In addition, the front of the website will be improved and professionalised.
Costs of further development
AutoWiki.org is part of the non-profit AutoWiki Foundation and depends on donations. The costs to date have been fully borne by the undersigned.
The platform is now so extensive and the costs are increasing that I would like to call in the help of all car-loving enthusiasts.
The AutoWiki Foundation itself has set up the Founding Donators Program with the aim of attracting a number of major sponsors (for more information see www.autowiki.org)
Support campaign
To support this I have set up this campaign, aimed at everyone who thinks AutoWiki is a great initiative.
I hope that they will contribute to help me form the cradle of the future 'Wikipedia of the car world'.
The aim is to raise €50,000 in this way. In return, all donors are included in the 'Donators Club', they receive a mention on the AutoWiki website (personally, as a company, or anonymously) and they are invited to all AutoWiki events and car rallies. The first AutoWiki Rally is on June 17, 2023 :-)
