Hello, my name is Thomas De Waelle and I couldn't be more thrilled to announce my participation in the incredible event, Dunes to Sand 2023. Alongside 59 other passionate individuals, we will embark on a thrilling kite journey stretching 85 kilometers from Bray Dunes, France, to Cadzand, the Netherlands, all in a single day.
But this adventure is about more than just the adrenaline and the challenge; it's about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents facing chronic conditions and specific rehabilitation needs. Through this event, we aim to raise funds for the Zeepreventorium, a remarkable medical pediatric rehabilitation center in De Haan, Belgium.
The Zeepreventorium offers specialized, multidisciplinary rehabilitation services to children and adolescents aged 0 to 18, regardless of their condition. It's a place where every child and adolescent with chronic rehabilitation needs can find the support and care they require. The center's dedication to comprehensive care and its commitment to helping young individuals thrive inspire me deeply.
By taking part in Dunes to Sand 2023, I am determined to contribute to the Zeepreventorium's noble cause. Every kilometer I cover with my kite will not only be a personal achievement but also a step closer to providing essential resources for the children and adolescents in need. I believe in the power of collective action and the profound impact we can make when we come together.
Join me on this exhilarating journey as we harness the wind, conquer the distance, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most!

Beste,
