Help Us Build a Home of Hope
I am writing to humbly request your support in helping my family and me fulfill our long-awaited dream of building a home.
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
My name is Nuwantha Lakmal, and today, I am reaching out with a humble heart and a sincere request. After years of hardship, we finally achieved a milestone that once seemed impossible: we purchased a small piece of land that could one day be home to our family. But now, we face the reality of being unable to afford the construction of our house due to financial constraints.
For years, my family and I have lived in rented spaces, constantly moving from place to place. Each time we settled in, we knew it wasn’t permanent. We've faced the uncertainty of not knowing how long we could stay or what the next move would bring. The dream of a stable, safe, and loving home has been a distant hope;one we thought we could never grasp.
This land represents more than just dirt and soil to us. It represents stability. It represents hope. It represents the chance for my family to have a place where we can plant roots, grow, and finally find peace. But without your help, our dream remains just that;a dream.
I am not asking for extravagance. I am simply asking for the chance to give my family a modest, secure home;a place where my children can grow up feeling safe and loved, where we no longer have to worry about the uncertainty of tomorrow.
The funds will go directly to the construction of the house, and I will personally oversee every step of the process to make sure your support is honored with the deepest gratitude.
To us, this home is everything. It’s a chance to create a stable future, to build not just a house, but a place where memories will be made, love will grow, and dreams will thrive. Your generosity, no matter how small, brings us closer to this reality.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering our request. We will never forget the kindness of those who helped us build the foundation of our future.
With deepest gratitude,
