From blind to seeing!
Raising money to enable cataract surgery for poor people! This is an action from Eyeforangola.
In Angola, eye campaigns are done to offer people eye care. Often people need cataract surgery, but far from always having the means to pay for it. I am Naomi and working as an opthalmic assistent trying to improve eyecare in Angola!
Doctor John does eye campaigns throughout the country. Cataract surgeries are done during the campaigns at low costs. We would like to help everyone, including those who don't have the money. How sad it would be to have to tell people that their surgery cannot be done. Please help make these cataract surgeries possible. Your donation is greatly appreciated. The joy of someone going from virtually blind to sighted is truly special! Make a fellow human being happy! For only 26 euros we can do a cataract surgery!
In Angola worden er oogcampagnes gedaan om mensen oogzorg aan te bieden. Vaak hebben mensen een staaroperatie nodig, maar lang niet altijd hebben ze de middelen om daarvoor te betalen. Ik ben Naomi, werkzaam als oogheelkundig assistent in Angola met het doel om de oogzorg te verbeteren.
Dokter John doet oogcampagnes door het hele land. De staaroperaties worden voor een lage prijs gedaan. We willen graag iedereen helpen, ook de mensen die het geld er niet voor hebben. Wat zou het triest zijn om mensen te moeten vertellen dat hun operatie niet gedaan kan worden. Helpt u mee om deze staaroperaties mogelijk te maken. Uw gift wordt enorm gewaardeerd. Dear friends and donors, we are impressed by the impact your donations had on the people of the province of Moxico in Angola. With you donations we could pay the complete costs for 17 people and 12 people managed to pay a part so we helped them with the rest of the money. Dear friends, I would wish you were here to see the impact this has on the lives of this people. Often they were dependent on family members before the operation, but after they manage on their one. Really it means the world for them!! To see the joy on their faces gave us strenght to go on with our work, although it was quite intens and tiring. We thank God for your help!
