Hello everyone, I am the eldest daughter of a strong and loving woman who is now facing one of the hardest battles of her life. My mother, a widower, has always carried the weight of our family with so much courage and sacrifice after losing my father. Last July 2024, her CT scan revealed a suspicious mass in her colon. At that time, the doctors said it was localized. But just this January 2025, her colonoscopy showed that the mass had grown large enough to block 60–70% of her colon. The doctors described it as friable and likely malignant. They told us that surgery is urgently needed to remove the mass before it worsens. As her eldest daughter, I feel so helpless. I don’t know what to do anymore. I want to save my mother, but the cost of the operation and hospital care is beyond what I can provide on my own. She has no one else but us, and I cannot imagine losing her this soon. I am knocking on your kind hearts to please help us raise funds for her colorectal surgery.
