In a world that often rushes past pain and silence, this day invites us to pause. To truly see the people around us.
To reach out to those who need warmth, care, and connection—not out of charity, but out of shared humanity.
Because community isn’t just where we live. It’s how we live together.
On December 21st, we return to the heart of Antwerp for the 8th edition of Central Hairstation—a day where compassion becomes action.
Where dignity is restored, kindness is shared, and no one is left unseen.
This year, our mission grows deeper. We’ve joined hands with organizations that care for children and youth who’ve been removed from their homes—many carrying the weight of trauma, addiction, and abuse.
To offer them even a moment of peace, of beauty, of being heard… is profoundly moving.
We’ll be there with haircuts, warm clothing, soup, sandwiches, coffee, manicures, survival kits—but those are just the tools.
What truly matters are the stories.
The voices.
The people.
This project is about awareness.
About togetherness.
About choosing to care.
Let’s make this 8th edition not just a tradition, but a movement.
Let’s give love.
Let’s give time.
Let’s give people back to themselves.
Let’s show what a community can do—when it comes together.

Een prachtige dag om prachtige mensen het mooiste te geven wat er is… LIEFDE. GEMEENSCHAP. MENSHEID.
Meer dan ooit is het tijd om stil te staan en écht te kijken naar de mensen om ons heen—vooral naar wie warmte, zorg en verbondenheid nodig heeft.
Want gemeenschap is niet alleen waar we wonen—het is hoe we samen leven.
Op zondag 21 december 2025 keren we terug naar Antwerpen-Centraal voor de 8ste editie van Central Hairstation.
Een dag waarop medeleven in actie wordt omgezet. Een dag om waardigheid te herstellen, vriendelijkheid te delen en mensen te laten voelen dat ze er niet alleen voor staan.
Dit jaar groeit onze gemeenschapskracht verder.
We werken samen met organisaties die kinderen en jongeren ondersteunen die uit hun thuisomgeving zijn gehaald—velen van hen dragen trauma, verslaving of mishandeling met zich mee.
Het is diep ontroerend om zelfs maar een moment van verlichting, hoop en menselijk contact te kunnen bieden.
Knipbeurten, warme kleding, soep, broodjes, koffie, overlevingspakketten… het zijn slechts de eerste stappen.
Wat écht telt, zijn de verhalen die we horen. De stemmen die we erkennen. De mensen die we zien.
Want dit project draait boven alles om bewustwording en verbondenheid.
Elke dag passeren zo’n 37.000 mensen door Antwerpen-Centraal. Als slechts 1% van hen even stilstaat, iemand in nood opmerkt en besluit te helpen… dan hebben we iets echts in gang gezet.
Een golf van menselijkheid. Een stap naar een warmere, meer verbonden wereld.
Laten we van deze 8ste editie niet zomaar een traditie maken, maar een beweging.
Laten we liefde geven.
Laten we tijd geven.
Laten we mensen teruggeven aan zichzelf.
Laten we tonen wat een gemeenschap kan doen—wanneer ze samenkomt.
