Set up a sterilization program on the Greek island of Zakynthos

We have gone on holiday to Greece many times and it is a beautiful country with very friendly people, good food and great weather! Yet there is always the one thing that breaks our hearts. The many stray cats that you really come across everywhere. Of course I try to help as much as possible where I can. In November I set up a ride with volunteers to pick up a mother cat with her kittens. Last year me and my sister also picked up two cats so that they can have a better life and not have to roam anymore. But keep collecting cats and taking them to another country is not the solution. It feels a bit like carrying water to the sea. It must be solved and the cats must get help, I see many messages from tourists that there is a litter here, there is a cat that looks bad and needs to be helped, there are kittens with inflamed eyes and so on. I can wait a long time for someone to stand up and try to help or we can do it together! The people on the island who are trying their hardest are full are exhausted and really need help! We are going to lend them a helping hand and ensure a long-term solution together with the people there! We will regularly post updates on what we have done and how it is progressing!
