Today, we are breaking our silence on the horror we have endured: our family was subjected to torture, and we still carry the deep scars of these traumas. On top of this physical and psychological suffering, we are facing an absolute emergency: we are starving. The lack of food is a daily reality that weakens us more and more each day.

Today, my heart breaks seeing my baby cry like this. He cries because he is hungry, and because I do not have even the bare minimum to take care of him and provide proper care. Adi is still so small, and he depends entirely on us.

We are a family with four children, and our situation is extremely precarious. Every single day is a fierce struggle just to find food and basic necessities for our children.
